KATE
Pilates instructor
Her Pilates philosophy is simple: to help clients find balance through movement. By focusing on symmetry, body awareness, and core strength, she cultivates bodies that are as resilient as they are flexible. For her, regular practice is not just exercise-it’s a proactive approach to preventing injury and building a strong foundation that supports an active life. Pilates is functional movement that translates directly into everyday living, creating muscle memory that enhances athletic performance while protecting the joints during daily activities.
She first discovered Pilates in her 20s while working long hours at a desk. Although she stayed active through gym workouts and yoga, she often struggled with back pain. With consistent Pilates practice, she was able to eliminate that pain, feel stronger throughout her body, and genuinely enjoy movement in a way that kept her coming back for more.
After the busy years of raising a family, she returned to Pilates when back pain resurfaced-and once again experienced its transformative benefits. Inspired by the results, she pursued formal training through the Kane School of Westport and has spent the past three years sharing her passion for functional movement with others.
Her goal is for every client to leave each session feeling lighter, brighter, and ready to move through their day with a body that feels stronger, more aligned, and fully alive.
